UPON THIS ROCK TICKET REFUND REQUEST

As a ticket holder of the April 2020 Upon This Rock Passion Play, you are entitled to a refund of tickets purchased. As mentioned in our January memorandum (copy below), we are asking our ticket holders to consider sowing the amount of your ticket purchases back into the Upon This Rock ministry in preparation for the next production once the pandemic subsides. We are obligated to refund our patrons, and will do so as we understand that many are financially challenged during this time.

Should you agree to sow your refund back into the ministry, we will reserve the same number of seats from tickets purchased towards the next Upon This Rock Passion Play (for the day, time and seating area originally purchased). We will keep you posted once a new production date and time has been scheduled.

Dear Upon This Rock Patron:

It is our prayer that this letters finds you and your family well during this challenging season in our world.

Due to the continued challenge with COVID-19, we have made a decision to cancel the April, 2021 production of the Upon This Rock Passion Play. We do plan to schedule a future production weekend once the pandemic has subsided, however, we chose not to select a new rescheduled date until churches, businesses and other establishments are resuming normal operations. A significant number of our patrons are seniors, and we want them around when we celebrate the next Upon This Rock experience - it’s going to be explosive!

Because we have rescheduled twice since the original April 2020 performance dates, we have decided to officially cancel the Indy production and refund our current ticket holders. We so appreciate your prayers and patience during these uncertain times. We are closely following the news updates concerning the pandemic in order to determine the next best date to present the passion play. There is no doubt that when we return we can expect an powerful praise celebration as we remember the life, death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

We plan to start releasing refunds February 1, 2021. All ticket holders will receive an email shortly with further details as to how funds will be returned. Due to unrecoverable expenses that went into the preparation for both the Indy and Louisville productions, our current budget has been challenged, but all ticket refunds are guaranteed. We are asking, however, that our current ticket holders would prayerfully consider sowing the money for your ticket back into the UTR ministry. All who choose to do so will be guaranteed a complimentary seat (or seats) for our next Upon This Rock Passion Play.

What’s going to happen Easter weekend 2021? Good question - and I think we have a good answer. Last year we presented a virtual presentation of the Upon This Rock Passion Play 2019 via Facebook Live. We received an overwhelming response from past patrons as well as many who’ve never experienced UTR. It was a great success and a blessing to many. For Easter 2021, we are putting together another Live Virtual Production spotlighting scenes with our special guest artists who performed over the years, along with exciting interviews with select cast and patrons.
